Participation in Projects
Since 2006, the SRDA has participated in a project adopted within the framework of the European Community initiative programme INTERREG III B for the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) "VBN Innoreg – Strengthening Via Baltica Nordica Macro-Region through Transnational Cooperation for Regional Innovation Promotion” (http://www.baltic.org). The project implementation covers the period from January 2006 to December 2007.
The SRDA is working on new project ideas connected with enhancing the SRDA capacity and establishing cooperation networks between various state institutions and municipalities in Latvia and other countries.
The SRDA is looking for opportunities to participate in exchanging information with institutions, authorities and non-governmental organizations involved in regional development, in their activities and measures promoting regional development in order to gain and share experience and inform society at large about the role and importance of the activities and measures devoted to regional development.
