State Regional Development Agency


 

The State Regional Development Agency (hereinafter referred to as SRDA) is an authority operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.

The SRDA is developing and extending its functions and tasks year by year. Initially starting its activities by administrating programs for entrepreneurs in specially supported territories and implementing of various state and Structural Fund financed local municipality support programs.

Due to institutional changes at this moment main task is providing e-services for governmental and municipal institutions. Information about functions related to e-governance:

SRDA is still managing some programs of state support, activities of the European Union Structural Funds (project monitoring) and some foreign support instruments.

During the programming period of the EU funds for 2014-2020, the SRDA provides administrative support to the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 Office and Interreg Estonia-Latvia Information Point. Since 2006 SRDA supports and provides VASAB secretariat office.
